Ah yes- Liquid lipsticks, the hottest trend for the Beauty Bloggers of Instagram and Youtube! Ever since Jeffree Star, Kat Von D., and Kylie came out with liquid lipsticks, everyone has been dying to have the entire collection! Like lipsticks, liquid lipsticks can come in a variety of finishes. Matte (Jeffree Star’s Celebrity Skin is on Prép’s top hot list!), shiny, and sheen. After you’ve applied a coat of colour, it should be smooth, not drying, and lightweight- you shouldn’t even feel it. However, different lipsticks work differently for everyone. Prép artists recommend you apply a thin layer of lip balm or your favourite chapstick before applying a coat of matte liquid lipstick or paint. Experience trial and error to see how much pressure to use when applying as the results can get patchy! Long lasting and so many fun colours and finishes, all in a pretty little tube!  For all compulsive make-up hoarders, we all started with one thing. Lip Smackers. The kind that not only came in your favourite soda drink flavour, but also came in your favourite Troll doll colours. So what is it about lip gloss thats so fun to apply? Well for starters, usually, they come out clear and smell of like you just cracked open a watermelon. Second, who doesn’t applying lip gloss with the doe-foot applicator? Slide, glide, done. The cons? Lip gloss tends to wear off a on faster than other lippies, it can also be very sticky if it the formula is not top quality (Hair tastes great, am I right?) Glosses also tend to be either patchy, or require an abundance of re-applications when you eat all of it. Struggles! However, the colours always reflect the picture-perfect sheen, causing us make-up lovers to have to carry 1, er, 4, in our bag every day!Now- everybody’s (or we hope’s) essential! Or shiny- our personal favourite, sultry yet casual! The perfect lipstick should be conditioning and should melt into your lips without the added grease What’s your favourite?

Lipliners are like the building blocks in the art of lip makeup. If done with precision and perfectly, one can create an illusion of a larger top or bottom lip without the use of fillers or botox. Using the perfect shade of ‘nude’ or ‘my lips but better’ —Prép make- up artists recommend Mac or Make Up Forever for this treacherous task. You always want to aim for the smoothest gliding lip product since the skin your lip is so delicate and thin. If enlarging your lips is not one of your goals, try lining your lips by using a lip liner similar to your lip stick to ensure long lasting, all night wear. Remember to sharpen tha pencil to prevent painful scratches!

Let’s face it… who doesn’t want longer and thicker looking lashes? The mascara can multiply your lash length by X300 which is perfect for any one taking a “lash extension break” or if you have had allergic reactions to lash extensions.

How To Apply:

  1. Apply a coat of any brand of mascara you have.
  2. Apply an even coat of the “Transplanting Gel”.
  3. Gently brush “Fibres” onto the lashes.
  4. Seal the “Fibres” in with a final coat of the “Transplating Gel”.

Prep_Flourish_2Tips:

  • You can apply as many coats of the fibres & gel as you like as long as you seal the final coat with the translating gel.
  • Do one eye at a time as the gel and fibres apply easier when the base coat of mascara is still wet.
  • Use the “Younique Brush” to easily separate the lashes during application to go for a more natural look.
