Bridal Spotlight: Danielle

Another happy bride from Prép Beauty Parlour! Danielle was married on Sunday, May 17th at Vandusen Gardens, one of Vancouver’s most breathtaking and enchanting wedding venues. The Prép Beauty Team got Danielle & her wonderful bridal party ready at the Sandman Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia in the early afternoon. Bridal hair and makeup done by Mika and Faye, bridesmaids and mother’s done by Lisa, Crystal, Faye and Mika. We loved Danielle’s subtle but stunning makeup and her soft, romantic curls; she was truly a radiant bride!

“My bridesmaids and I all looked flawless. Faye gave me a down-do with loose curls that literally lasted all day long, through hours of outdoor ceremony and photo taking and even through all the dancing at the reception. The makeup that Mika applied stayed picture perfect as well – nothing ran, I didn’t look shiny (which for me is usually a given by the end of the day – and it was hot out), and I have wedding photos that look like we all walked out of a magazine. I had never felt more beautiful.” – Bride Danielle, 2015.

Danielle’s 5 lovely bridesmaids wore alternating style black dresses, a somewhat untraditional but simple color choice that contrasted beautifully and flattered everyone. The colours created a classic, elegant, and timeless look for the photos, and tied in perfectly with her “modern organic” theme. Danielle chose to have 2 different dresses for her special day, the first for her ceremony was a gorgeous strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with a fuller skirt that gave off a perfect princess-esque vibe. For her reception, Danielle slipped into a edgier Sarah Seven number that made dancing and eating much easier! No bridal outfit is complete without a ring however, and did Danielle’s Lugaro rock ever shine!!

She also chose one of our favourite Vancouver wedding photographers, Matt Kennedy, to photograph her very special wedding day.
