At Prép Beauty Parlour, we get a lot of brides. Lots of brides equals lots of love stories, and we cant get enough of Natalie and Adams’s! Natalie and Adam met on the online dating site Plenty Of Fish. In today’s society, online dating has become quite common, success stories, however, are not quite as often occurring. Combining Adams love of Batman and Natalie’s Hello Kitty obsession, this online match became a real life romance!
Natalie and Adams wedding incorporated fun aspects of the couples personalities and perfectly captured their quirky side. Their subtle colour scheme of navy blue and white pulled together very well and added a classy edge to their Heritage Hall reception. Guests enjoyed authentic glass bottles of Coca Cola as wedding favours, and members of the bridal party got to indulge in some pre-wedding Slurpees with the bride and groom! The homemade photo booth was also a huge hit, and left Natalie and Adam with captured moments they will remember forever! Of course, no wedding is complete without a late night snack, and and the pair won over guests hearts with a Vancouver local favourite, the Tacofino food truck!
Natalie’s tea length traditional white dress had lace details and a fitted empire waist that complimented her curves beautifully. Adams grey suit created a soft contrast beside Natalie, while his blue tie added a pop of fun! Natalie’s bold and springy bridal makeup was done by Prép Beauty Team leader Mika, and her soft 50’s style waves by Faye. Mika did an amazing job of creating a smooth, glowing canvas with bright pink lipstick and a dramatic lash line that had Natalie’s baby blue eyes shining! Fayes pro curls were completed with Natalie’s gorgeous veil pinned on top.
