Spring is finally hitting Vancouver (kind of!!) and we are totally loving the cherry blossoms that have been appearing all over the city! We decided to capture the city’s beauty through a collaboration with the talented wedding and portrait photographer, Nomo Akisawa of Simply Sweet Photography and model Christina Lange! Christina’s gorgeous classic lash extensions done by Gillian and  makeup done by Mika at Prép Beauty Parlour!!

Nomo is a Vancouver based photographer who specializes in wedding photography! She describes her photos as romantic, whimsical, and elegant. Which we totally agree with! Just by scrolling her Instagram feed, you can experience the dreaminess through her breathtaking images!

@vendellasonia Loves our lashes!

Tv personality, actress and model Vandella Sonia started getting her lash extensions done with Prép earlier this year and now visits at least every couple weeks! Did you know this blonde bombshell not only does ballet but is a certified makeup artist and bartender, she also has background in maui thai & boxing!

Vandella is always out and about so of course she got her nails done with Haya too! She chose a very modern french with a detailed lace feature nail and a couple of Swarovski crystals!

Mandy Ross Visit’s Prép Beauty Parlour

Mandy Ross is a international tv & media personality, life cheerleader, yoga instructor and model.. Basically super woman! Mandy stopped by Prép Beauty Parlour this month to treat herself with a new set of classic lashes by master lash tech Chrissy. Of course we couldn’t let her stop by and not get her hair and makeup done by Crystal & Mika!

You may have seen her as host & reporter of Vancouver Television or Vancouver Fashion Week TV in 2012.. if neither of these then you have for sure seen her amazing youtube channel Mandy’s World, she has done so much work it would be impossible to put in into one blog! In her spare time she is dedicated to giving back to the community with many charities and fundraisers such as Variety- The Children’s Charity, Union Gospel Mission, The Battered Woman’s Support Services, and The Keep A Breast Canada Foundation just to name a few!

Bridal Spotlight: Flore-Anne

Our beautiful bride Flore-Anne married the love of her life Maurits on Saturday, April 9th 2016 at the Creekside Community Centre in Olympic Village, Vancouver. Our wedding Prép team started very in the morning and consisted of Mika, Faye, Lisa, Crystal and Candice.

Can you believe these two love birds met online? Meeting online has become a very common and popular way to meet your soulmate now-a-day’s, wouldn’t you like to meet your soulmate today if you haven’t already?

Flore-Anne wore a unconventional and stunning pink wedding dress with gorgeous bow detailing. Her flower crown was something out of a fairy tale! Hair piece and flower crowns were carefully placed by us before Mika started on her timeless bridal makeup application. Her new husband was sporting a stylish grey and white pin-stripe Tux with white accent pocket square, all in all, it’s a match made in heaven!

We can’t forget about her guardian angels (Bridesmaids)! All 8 bridesmaids wore different floral dresses that complimented the brides wedding dress, the wedding arch was decorated in fun white, pink, yellow and orange flowers and even the officiant was in on the theme!
