On Saturday, August 8th 2015, Ashton McQueen gathered with her friends and family at the Burnaby Mountain Rose Garden 
to celebrate the joining of 2 beautiful souls and the beginning of a blissful and exciting marriage. Ashton wed long time boyfriend, Port Coquitlam realtor Zach Pugh.
The pair are madly in love. Ashton has always had a fancy for Zach, and thought he was extremely attractive long before they started dating. When they met, their connection was instant and the two have been inseparable ever since. For the past 7 years, they’ve travelled the world together, while keeping their Port Coquitlam condo a home with their 2 cats.
Ashton chose some of Préps best artists to pamper her on her special day, and even had one of our master eyelash technicians, Alisha, as one of her bridesmaids! Ashton and Alisha have been besties for ever. The bridesmaids wore one shoulder soft pink tea length dresses with a flirty twist in the front. The light colour contrasted nicely with their off-white bouquets.
Ashtons sophisticated and intricate bridal updo was carefully crafted by beauty team member Jenn. Her dramatic and bronzed bridal makeup was done by Mika, who created amazing depth for her chocolate brown eyes while softening Ashtons features and finished with strip lashes for an extra pop! The look was tied together beautifully with Ashtons lace veil.

The finishing touch- The Veil!
Ashton chose a gorgeous classic white form fitting off-the-shoulder gown from La Sposa Bridal in New Westminister. The all over lace added a touch of vintage, and harmonized perfectly with the sweeping train that lightly trailed from behind her. She truly was a vision in white!
The rose garden was the perfect backdrop for Ashton and Zachs ceremony. Their wedding photos, shot by Vancouver Photographer Ashley Durance, were brought to life with the vibrant colours of the garden and the pairs obvious chemistry. Their reception was held the the SFU Diamond Alumni Center, where guests enjoyed good food and music while celebrating the couple.

5 years later, the very much in love couple chose one of Vancouvers most vibrant and trendy areas to tie the knot. Yaletowns boho-chic feel is brought together by a breathtaking mix of modern and vintage architecture, unique boutiques, and some of the cities best food! Gorgeous views of False Creek and remnants of the areas railway history created a cozy and romantic atmosphere, the perfect location for these two lovebirds.
