Vancouver eyelash lift before and after
You ever wish you could wake up in the morning and skip the mascara and eyelash curling? You know, maybe cut your morning routine in half by not having to shimmy your mascara wand through your lashes to get them perfect? Imagine waking up with naturally long lashes! Without the exhausting coats of mascara and efforts curling the lashes just to realize you’ve missed all the baby lashes on the side! Ugh! For those Prép ladies who are wanting a more subtle look without wearing false strip lashes or eyelash extensions, Prép has special little secret to share! Come a little closer..
Some of you ladies may know what I’m talking about when I say I suffer with “straight lash syndrome”. Warning!! This is a very serious topic! I have been cursed with a SERIOUS birth beauty defect! Being half Asian and all… My mother is Japanese and also has very straight but fabulously thick lashes. What do we do about this? We use eyelash curlers and pray that the room isn’t too humid to have them fall back down again immediately after… We have tried everything, from heating the eyelash curler with a hair dryer, to using an actual heated lash curler, but still no staying power… Not to worry! I was blessed to have found this fabulous (not new) invention, call the LASH LIFT!
What’s this I speak of? This “LASH LIFT” is a quick and painless way to temporarily to semi-permanently curl your natural lashes! Wear less makeup, and just add mascara if you want to thicken up! No need for eyelash extensions but can always add extensions for the extra va-va-voom and curl if desired!
We start the lash lift process by adding a gel pad to the bottom baby lashes to ensure they don’t run off! Just kidding! We do this with eyelash extensions as well! Now to determine the curve of the lashes, we have structured and curved silicon pads that are placed on the eyelid. These curved pads come in a variety of sizes and slopes to make for different lash curl looks. This is similar to the different curls of eyelash extensions we offer (B, D, C, etc). The larger the raise on the silicon pad, the larger the curve of the lashes, meaning that if you go for a smaller raised bump on the pad, you will have more lift. Our Prép technician will carefully observe and select the correct size so you leave with the look you desire! Gently lifting the top lashes, we adhere the lashes to the curve of the pad. After the lashes are adhered to the curve, your Prép technician will then apply a perm gel as well as setting or top gel so your lashes stay freshly curled for 6-8 weeks!
The whole process takes about an hour from start to finish, and lasts about 6-8 weeks! Imagine your naturally thick full lashes, actually being curled as well, so every morning you wake up and see your pretty peepers staring back at you. Why not add a tint as well to the lash lift, so not only are your eyelashes beautifully curled, but dark and full as well? Ugh, why didn’t I know about this when I was in high school and learned the hard way that using an eyelash curler at 5 in the morning very tired and shaky could result in ripping out half of your natural lashes?!
